Royal Ascot 2018 will be held on 19th to 23rd of June
Royal Ascot is the most valuable race event in Britain, and it also attracts many of the world’s finest racehorses. During the Royal Ascot week, which takes place in June, over 300,000 people make the annual visit to Berkshire. Royal Ascot is Europe’s best-attended race meeting. There are eighteen group races on offer, with at least one Group One event on each of the five days. For the occasion, attendees must choose one of the four enclosures. All enclosures have a specific character and a special hospitality package.
As every year, Royal Procession will take place in the Ascot at 2pm. All Royal Ascot attendees will also participate in usual communal singing around the Bandstand.
2018 Royal Ascot official dress code update
Following fashion trends every year, Royal Ascot had already adjusted its dress code in 2017. Indeed, the jumpsuit was finally accepted in clothing for the Royal Enclosure in 2017. This year, Royal Ascot has associated to the brand Cunard and its summer trends. From 2018, gentlemen will be asked to wear socks, and ladies will have to have their dresses necklines approved. Theses new dress codes rules are valid for all enclosures.
